Wearing the battle suit powered by an Arc Reactor, Wang Jing returned to the Kevlin Hotel.

Before he had even stepped inside the room, he could already hear the cheers and the thumping music from within.

When he pushed open the door, he saw that the living room was packed with more than a dozen stunning women in revealing clothes, all dancing to the beat.

A disco ball on the ceiling cast a riot of flashing colors over the room, turning the whole place into a nightclub.

Just as Wang Jing was wondering whether he had gone into the wrong room, he spotted Tony Stark standing in the middle of the crowd of women, and at once he understood what was going on.

He walked into the room and turned on the lights along the wall. The sudden brightness made everyone stop. One of the women saw Wang Jing at the doorway after he had flipped the switch and snapped at him, displeased, "Who are you? Don't you know there's a party going on here? Get out now!"

Hearing the woman's voice, Wang Jing's brows furrowed. Fury rose in an instant, and a faint, killing intent began to seep uncontrollably from him.

Just as he was about to move, Tony Stark emerged from the sea of women. He glanced back at the woman who had spoken rudely and said casually, "A little advice: you'd better disappear before my friend rips your head off. Otherwise, I can't guarantee your safety either."

Upon hearing that Wang Jing was Tony Stark's friend, the woman immediately became all smiles, hurrying to apologize in a soft, syrupy voice and beg for forgiveness. Wang Jing only said coldly, "Get lost."

The woman whose advances had been rebuffed by Wang Jing's cold words immediately darkened, as though she wanted to lash out but did not dare. In the end, she could only leave in resentment.

After she was gone, Wang Jing turned to the remaining women in the living room and said icily, "And you too."

Tony Stark looked helplessly at the group of women. "Sorry, ladies. My friend isn't in the best mood today. Please give us a little privacy."

Once the financier had spoken, all the women obediently filed out, though each of them was secretly guessing what sort of relationship this Asian man had with Tony Stark.

After they had all left, Wang Jing slammed the door shut with a heavy bang.

"I don't remember ever being friends with you," Wang Jing said as he walked over to the sofa.

Tony Stark did not answer. Instead, he sat down on the sofa beside Wang Jing and said nothing, merely propping his chin on his hand and staring at Wang Jing with a serious frown, as though studying a priceless painting.

"Stop staring," Wang Jing said impatiently. He had never been fond of that sort of look.

"I searched the entire internet and couldn't find anything useful about you people. The only record I found was your entry record. But I went through all the surveillance footage from the immigration bureau, and there was no sign of you at all."

"It feels like you just appeared out of nowhere," Tony Stark said to himself.

"If you want something, just say it directly."

"Fine." Seeing how blunt Wang Jing was, Tony Stark abandoned his strange pose and straightened up. Looking serious, he asked, "I want to know how you're going to cure my body."

"It's a trade secret." Wang Jing crossed one leg over the other and smiled at Tony Stark beside him.

"How much do you want?" Tony Stark asked, leaning back against the sofa, relaxed.

"What do you think your life is worth?" Wang Jing countered.

"You can name the price. I won't bargain."

"I want Pepper Potts."

At the sound of that name, Tony Stark's pupils contracted sharply, and he immediately waved a hand. "No. Pick something else."

"But you just said you wouldn't bargain."

"Yes, but I never said I couldn't go back on my word," Tony Stark argued.

"Then there's nothing to discuss. What's the difference between this and playing me for a fool?"

"All right. Name another thing. This time I'll definitely agree, but Pepper is off limits," Tony Stark said sternly.

"Fine. You asked for it, so don't regret it."

Wang Jing sat up straight as well. "Speak. This time, I definitely won't go back on my word."

Seeing that Tony Stark had taken the bait, Wang Jing let a trace of a triumphant smile tug at the corners of his mouth.

"I want you."

He pointed at Tony Stark.

The man he had pointed at stared back in shock. "Fuck, you bastard, I'll never let you have your way!" Tony Stark cried, surging to his feet.

"Relax. What are you thinking?" Wang Jing said disdainfully. "What I want is your knowledge. Who wants your weak, failing body?"

"Who's weak and failing? The women I've slept with all said my skills were very good," Tony Stark declared proudly.

"Don't change the subject. Just tell me if you're willing or not," Wang Jing said, folding his arms.

"First, let me make one thing clear. I won't help you do anything illegal," Tony Stark said.

"No problem. Everything we do is for justice. You can rest assured of that. And if you ever feel something is wrong, you can leave at any time."

"You won't put a bullet in my back afterward, will you?" Tony Stark asked skeptically.

"We're a legitimate international organization. Why would we do something as dirty as shooting people in the back?" Wang Jing wore the expression of a perfectly proper gentleman who could not possibly be misunderstood.

"You're a government organization?" Tony Stark asked in surprise.

"Exactly. We're field agents for the United Government. You're most likely going to become our technical adviser," Wang Jing said.

"The United Government? I've never heard of that organization. You're not making this up, are you?" Tony Stark looked at Wang Jing suspiciously.

"Of course you've never heard of it, because our organization's headquarters isn't even in this world."

"You're an alien?" Tony Stark unconsciously edged backward, his eyes filling with caution.

"No. I'm a human from Earth."

"Then what did you mean just now?"

"Do you know about the theory of parallel worlds?"

"You mean your organization is in another parallel world?" Tony Stark asked in astonishment.

Wang Jing smiled and nodded. "Including the world you come from, we already have friendly relations with eight realms."

"Oh my God. If what you're saying is true, that's insanely cool. Can you take me to see it?"

"Of course. But before that, we have to heal your body first. I don't want you collapsing halfway there."

As he spoke, Wang Jing stood up, pulled Tony Stark to his feet from the sofa, and then crossed over to the primary realm.

Seeing the scenery around him change in an instant, Tony Stark looked around in amazement. Although he was deeply astonished, he still said, "This doesn't feel like much. I thought there'd be some kind of phenomenon or something."

When he saw the soldiers around him in powered exoskeleton armor, fully armed from head to toe, Tony Stark merely raised an eyebrow and said blandly, "If it were me, I would never let my soldiers wear such outdated gear."
