Chapter Thirty-One: The Source of the Fire Seed

"What are you trying to say?" Optimus Prime asked, his voice deep and resonant.

"Since the Decepticons want to use the AllSpark to dominate the universe, let me take the AllSpark to my world," Wang Jing said, looking straight at Optimus Prime.

Before Optimus Prime could reply, Ironhide, standing beside him, interjected sternly, "That's impossible! The AllSpark is the sacred relic of Cybertron. We could never hand it over to you humans!"

"Then you can all come to my world together!" Wang Lei retorted to Ironhide.

"If we all leave, this Earth will be doomed," Optimus Prime said.

"This isn't a one-way trip. You can return whenever you wish. But I must warn you in advance, the United States in this world is nothing like the one in ours. They're willing to do anything for their interests, even making deals with the devil is not out of the question," Wang Jing cautioned.

"It's not as bad as you make it sound."

"That remains to be seen," Wang Jing had just finished speaking when Li Yiyi suddenly said, "Several vehicles are speeding towards us!"

Wang Jing realized those vehicles must be from Sector Seven, so he turned to Optimus Prime and said, "The entire U.S. government is coming. Let's find somewhere else to talk!"

Optimus Prime nodded. "Autobots, retreat!"

Wang Jing and Alice climbed into Bumblebee, while Liu Peiqiang and the others got into the pickup Ironhide had transformed into. The van was abandoned in the open.

Meanwhile, aboard Air Force One, Frenzy was busy stealing military secrets when he accidentally came across satellite images of four meteors, transaction records for the pair of glasses, and the information about Megatron he'd been searching for.

But just as Frenzy was about to download the data, the Pentagon detected his intrusion and immediately severed the defense network.

Seeing he’d only managed to download less than half the data, Frenzy was so furious he smashed the screen with his head.

After taking out two security officers who came to investigate, Frenzy transformed into a radio and evaded further searches. Only after Air Force One landed did he sneak away and board a police car, which was actually Barricade in disguise.

"The glasses have already been sold. I can't find information on the buyer."

"But I did find information on Lord Megatron, though it's incomplete. It's all the fault of these foolish humans."

"And the Autobots have come to Earth as well. They must have obtained the glasses. Now, if we follow them, we can find the AllSpark. With it, we'll have more time to find Lord Megatron," Frenzy said as he transmitted the data to Barricade.

On the other side, after shaking off their pursuers, Sector Seven dispatched helicopters to search, but in the heavy traffic, it was impossible to locate a car that could change its shape.

"Damn it!" Simmons slammed his fist angrily against the dashboard when he received the report from his men.

"Sir, what should we do next?" the driver asked.

"Instruct Sector Seven to increase their defenses. Whatever they're after, they're definitely coming for it!" Simmons replied sternly.

After escaping pursuit, the convoy didn't stop but headed straight for the Hoover Dam.

"Are you planning to just charge in?" Wang Jing asked Optimus Prime, who was at the front of the convoy.

"If we want to recover the AllSpark, this is the only way," Optimus Prime’s steady voice came through the vehicle’s speakers.

"There’s actually a better way. Remember, I told you I could take you to my world?" Wang Jing said with a smile.

A few hours later, they arrived at the Hoover Dam. "Are you sure you can take Bumblebee across to your world?" Optimus Prime asked, his tone tinged with concern.

"Relax. As long as it's under six tons, I can teleport it," Wang Jing replied confidently.

Just then, Li Yiyi, who had been working on the wiring, walked over holding two cables. "The wires are ready."

"Let's do this!" Wang Jing took the cables and looked at Bumblebee, who had transformed into his humanoid form and stood like a nervous boxer about to enter the ring, shifting anxiously from foot to foot.

Wang Jing grasped the cables in one hand and placed his other hand on Bumblebee’s large foot. After a brief charge, Wang Jing activated the dimensional passage.

In the blink of an eye, Wang Jing and Bumblebee crossed into the primary dimension. Seeing the surroundings change so suddenly, Bumblebee could only gasp in amazement, while the soldiers and Alice waiting nearby all looked on in astonishment and curiosity at the sudden appearance of the Autobot.

Song Guohua, who had been waiting for some time, immediately came over to introduce himself to Bumblebee.

Meanwhile, Wang Jing picked up a tranquilizer gun that had been prepared in advance, and with Ada Wong, who had also been waiting, crossed back. "Bumblebee has arrived safely. Now, we'll proceed as planned!"

"Autobots, prepare to move out at any time," said Optimus Prime in his deep voice.

Wang Jing nodded, then turned to Li Yiyi, "Are we ready?"

"OK! All surveillance equipment is fully jammed. We can act any time!" Li Yiyi replied, making an 'OK' gesture.

"Then it's our turn." With that, Wang Jing handed the tranquilizer gun to Liu Peiqiang and the others.

Wang Jing and Ada Wong then walked toward the entrance of the Hoover Dam, while Liu Peiqiang and the others followed at a distance to provide covering fire.

When they were still a hundred meters from the entrance, two guards stopped them. "Sir, this area is restricted. Please leave immediately!"

"Sorry, but could you tell us where the restroom is? My girlfriend needs to go." As he said this, Wang Jing stepped aside, and Ada Wong, playing along, shot both soldiers with tranquilizer darts to the neck.

The two guards, reaching for their weapons, collapsed limply before they could react. At the same time, the sentries in the distance were quietly taken out by Liu Peiqiang and Wang Lei, who were providing cover.

Wang Jing gave the two a thumbs-up, quickly changed into one of the guards’ uniforms, and slipped inside the Hoover Dam.

Disguised, Wang Jing and Ada Wong soon found an empty warehouse. There, Wang Jing began teleporting the expeditionary force from the primary dimension, who had been waiting for his signal.

The troops surged out of the warehouse and secured everyone in the dam. Of course, there was some firefighting, but with their exoskeleton armor, the expeditionary force quickly took control of the Hoover Dam.

Though they had the situation in hand, it inevitably triggered the base's alarms.

"Quick, stuff all the explosives into Megatron's head!" Wang Jing urged the expeditionary soldiers busy attaching C4 charges to Megatron, as the shrill alarms blared.

Then Wang Jing teleported Bumblebee in, and pointed to the AllSpark, which towered as high as a multi-story building. "Hurry! Their reinforcements will be here any moment!"

Bumblebee nodded, reached out with both hands, and gently touched the AllSpark amid the crackling energy arcs. The massive cube rapidly shrank in on itself.

Witnessing this miraculous scene, even Wang Jing, who knew the plot, couldn't help but gape in astonishment. Beside him, the Secretary, held at gunpoint, also stared in wide-eyed disbelief. "Who are you people?"

Just as the Secretary spoke, the entire base shook. Then, Liu Peiqiang's anxious voice came through the earpiece. "Wang Jing, watch out! The Decepticons are here. Optimus Prime and the others are holding them off, but from the look of things, they can't last much longer!"
