"Please stop trying to pin everything on us. We have been busy restructuring Hammer Industries lately and have no spare time to hack into anyone else's company!" Alice said, clearly annoyed.

"Please don't misunderstand; I didn't mean it that way. It was just a routine inquiry," Phil Coulson replied, explaining himself after seeing Alice's intense reaction.

"Do you have any other questions? If not, I have work to attend to," Alice said coldly.

"One more question. Is Miss Alice here today to acquire Oscorp?"

"That's right, though my progress has been severely delayed thanks to you," Alice retorted sharply.

"Miss Alice, according to the information we have obtained, you spent a total of 28 billion dollars on the acquisition of Hammer Industries, yet we cannot find any tax records or the source of these funds. Could you tell me where this money came from?"

"Finance is not under my purview; you’re asking the wrong person. Besides, I don't believe we have any obligation to explain the source of our funds to you!" Without waiting for Coulson's response, Alice snorted coldly and turned to walk into the crowd. By the time Coulson tried to step forward to stop her, she had completely vanished from sight.

Elsewhere, Tony Stark, who had claimed he was going to the restroom, was already clinking glasses with a group of shareholders in a private room, wearing a smile.

"Mr. Stark, thank you so much for your help. We wouldn't have known how much longer we would have had to live in fear without you," one of the former Oscorp shareholders said obsequiously, raising his glass.

Tony Stark felt nothing toward their flattery; in fact, he felt a hint of disgust. However, he maintained a smile on his face to play along, praying that Alice would hurry up and take over.

Perhaps Tony’s prayers were answered, as a knock sounded at the door a moment later. A burly bodyguard in a black suit, his muscles straining against his jacket, walked in and said, "A Miss Alice says she is with Mr. Stark."

"Yes, she is with me. Let her in," Tony said quickly.

After seeing the fat shareholder nod, the bodyguard opened the door to let Alice in.

"Let me introduce everyone. This is Miss Alice, who is here on behalf of Mr. Wang Jing to sign the contract!" the fat shareholder said, standing up with a beaming smile to introduce her to the others.

"Apologies, I ran into an acquaintance outside and was delayed for a moment." Although she offered an apology, Alice didn't hesitate to walk straight to Tony Stark's side and pick up the contract.

After exchanging a glance with Tony to confirm the contract was in order, Alice signed it decisively without even glancing at the acquisition price.

Seeing Alice sign so readily, the fat shareholder felt a weight lift off his chest. He laughed heartily and said, "Haha, Miss Alice is truly straightforward! This toast is for you!" He then downed his glass of whiskey in one gulp.

This bold gesture drew cheers and applause from the other shareholders.

Just as everyone was clapping in excitement, Alice, sensing a premonition of danger, instantly raised her hand, erecting a telekinetic barrier around herself and Tony.

No sooner had the barrier gone up than a spherical object was thrown through the glass window opposite them.

Before anyone could react, a massive explosion rocked the room.

More than half of the shareholders were taken out by the blast, while those who remained alive lay on the ground, wailing in agony.

Alice and Tony were the only ones unscathed, though the deafening roar of the explosion in the enclosed space made them both frown in pain.

As the smoke cleared, a green figure flew into the chaotic room on a flight board.

Seeing the figure covered in green, even his head encased in a menacing green helmet, Alice knew that the main event had finally arrived. She felt incredibly fortunate that she hadn't let Wang Jing handle this mission.

The Green Goblin, confident and ready to admire his handiwork, froze for a split second upon seeing Alice and Tony unharmed. Then, the flight device beneath his feet unleashed a barrage of bullets at them.

However, the bullets hovered in mid-air about half a meter away from Alice. Only then did the sounds of panic and chaos begin to drift in from outside the room.

"Try this!" Seeing that bullets were useless against Alice, the Green Goblin pulled out a pumpkin bomb and tossed it toward the shareholders moaning on the floor.

Alice tried to use her telekinesis to throw it back, but as soon as her power enveloped the bomb, it detonated. The sheer force of the explosion caused her telekinetic shield to expand rapidly. If Alice hadn't used every ounce of her strength to contain it, none of the shareholders on the ground would have survived.

Under the pressure of Alice’s telekinesis, the expanding orange fireball vanished into thin air, leaving only fragments of shrapnel scattered on the floor.

Witnessing Alice’s terrifying power, the Green Goblin felt a flicker of fear. He quickly threw a flashbang and another pumpkin bomb, then used the distraction to flee the scene.

With two loud bangs, by the time Alice recovered from the blinding light of the flashbang, the Green Goblin had long since disappeared without a trace.

It was then that Phil Coulson kicked open the heavily damaged door, rushing in with a small pistol in hand.

"Could you have arrived any later?" Alice retracted her telekinesis and looked back at the late-arriving Coulson with a sneer.

Coulson, paying no mind to her attitude, asked gravely, "What happened?"

"Rather than talking, why don't you save them first? I don't think they'll last much longer," Tony Stark said, sitting safely in a chair and gesturing to the shareholders lying on the ground, gasping for air.

Looking at the various magnates lying in pools of blood, Coulson stopped questioning and pulled out his phone to call Nick Fury.

Moments later, a swarm of ambulances and police cars arrived at the hotel entrance, accompanied by several black SUVs.

Nick Fury, dressed in his black leather trench coat, walked into the hotel surrounded by a group of heavily armed special forces operatives.

By this time, Tony Stark had donned his armor and was helping transport the wounded, while Alice used her telekinesis to help stop the bleeding of those struck by shrapnel; without her intervention, most of them wouldn't have survived until the ambulances arrived.

Watching Alice use her telekinesis to move the wounded onto stretchers, Nick Fury, standing at the entrance, raised an eyebrow.

Only after Alice had sent all the wounded away did Nick Fury finally step into the chaotic room.
