22: Wrath of the Thunder God!
In the distance, Ascar's entire aura had transformed. A terrifying energy radiated from him, each strand of hair standing on end, his eyes blazing—at a glance, he was like a war god awakened. A devilish smile curled at the corner of his mouth. Step by step, he advanced, every footfall shattering the rocks beneath him to dust.
Powerful—unreasonably so.
The Titanium Vision swept over him, issuing a warning: extremely dangerous!
Qin Xiaofan drew a deep breath and slowly raised his butcher's knife. Now skilled with the blade, he no longer needed a battle cry to activate its power. In the next moment, a forty-meter-long battle blade materialized. He swung it down.
Boom! Sand and stones flew, smoke and dust billowed, and Ascar vanished from sight.
Qin Xiaofan's expression was grave. He knew that strike had missed. Without hesitation, he swept the blade horizontally, hoping to sever Ascar at the waist.
But something terrifying happened. The blade suddenly halted, unable to move at all.
As the dust cleared, everyone stared wide-eyed. Ascar stood at a distance, blocking with one hand, his palm gripping the blade, rendering it immobile.
A horror beyond words!
The crowd gasped—what strength was required to accomplish such a feat? This was... absurdly powerful!
Worry crept in—many feared Qin Xiaofan would not be able to win...
At that moment, Qin Xiaofan frowned deeply. With the blade restrained, he simply tossed it aside. It was the perfect chance to test his upgraded Palm Lightning.
A sizzle—
Electric light flashed in his palm, carrying a terrifying force. Without a word, Qin Xiaofan charged at Ascar, lightning in hand, moving like a hunting leopard—so swift that none could react.
Whoosh—
Ascar in the distance exhaled a heavy breath. His aura surged; the powerful energy formed currents, lifting loose stones off the ground in its wake.
He punched out.
Boom! Lightning collided with fist, producing a thunderous hum.
Yet, despite the terrifying clash, neither man retreated an inch.
A cold light flickered in Qin Xiaofan's eyes. In his other hand, he summoned a second bolt of Palm Lightning, striking fiercely at Ascar's chest.
But Ascar seemed to anticipate this, grabbing Qin Xiaofan's other hand in a reverse grip.
Qin Xiaofan gritted his teeth, yanked back, and drove his knee into Ascar's abdomen. In an instant, the massive force sent Ascar flying.
A golden opportunity!
Qin Xiaofan launched a barrage of attacks. Both fists clenched, each holding Palm Lightning, and as Ascar landed, he unleashed a wild flurry—his punches raining down like a storm, pounding Ascar relentlessly.
It was dazzling!
With every blow, the ground sank further; in moments, a deep pit had formed.
The distant onlookers were stunned.
So powerful—unreasonably so!
But then their eyes widened even further.
Dust erupted in the distance. Amidst the smoke, Qin Xiaofan was suddenly kicked into the air!
It was unimaginable—the strength behind that kick sent Qin Xiaofan rocketing skyward like a missile.
Ascar rose slowly from the pit, his head seemingly knocked askew. He grabbed his head and forcibly straightened it. His upper clothes were shredded, but his body bore only some reddened marks.
Witnessing this, everyone's legs trembled—such defense was terrifying!
Ascar glanced up, stepped back twice, then slowly lifted his leg high, as if preparing to kick a soccer ball. At the instant Qin Xiaofan began to fall, Ascar kicked!
Boom—
The air exploded, sonic booms rang out. The force was so immense it made one's scalp tingle.
With that kick, Qin Xiaofan vanished from sight. The next moment, a deafening crash echoed from the cliff behind. Rocks collapsed. Qin Xiaofan's entire body had been kicked into the stone wall—judging by the scale of the collapse, he'd been driven in at least three or four meters!
Cold sweat trickled down everyone's foreheads.
Too strong! So powerful it was suffocating!
They looked at Ascar as if he were some monstrous creature.
Was this the power of a top-tier B-level ability user? It was terrifying.
Among the crowd, the highest was only a newly initiated B-level. Though both were B-level, the difference was vast.
“Could Qin Xiaofan... really be done for?” Xiaoyan, in the crowd, stared at the billowing dust and rubble, nearly in tears.
“He’s probably finished,” the bald youth sighed. “If he survives this, he’s not human!”
No sooner had he spoken, than a violent cough echoed from the dust.
Wide-eyed, the crowd watched as Qin Xiaofan slowly emerged, one arm hanging limp, looking
