"How do you both like the equipment? Sister White Rabbit, if nothing comes up, I’ll be off first. Things haven’t been peaceful in the Kingdom of Aier lately; be extra careful when you’re out," Jason said, glancing at Xiao Keyi’s pale face and deciding it was best to make a swift exit.

“Uh… it’s good! You go ahead if you have things to do,” Xiao Keyi replied.

Wu Zui, seeing the hopeful look in Jason’s eyes, hurriedly sent him on his way.

“Master, I didn’t expect their research institute to be so ineffective, only producing cold weapons. Should we try buying from the black market instead?” After Jason left, Xiao Keyi looked at the pile of worn-out gear before her and said apologetically.

Actually, it’s not that the Kingdom of Aier can’t produce effective weapons — after all, it’s the 21st century. The real issue is their insufficient reserves of golden magnetite. They can make golden bombs, but do they have to collect the fragments after using them? Ridiculous!

Manufacturing cold weapons was truly a last resort.

“No need, this will do,” Wu Zui said, picking up the golden spear and pressing a button to open the canopy. He admitted that while this thing wasn’t great for fighting, it looked decent enough. With many clones of Han Bo, killing them wasn’t the problem; the real challenge was finding and eliminating his true form.

Wu Zui’s gear was originally meant for Zhang Meng and Zi Tong. Taking down Han Bo required wisdom—only by locating his true form could they deal with him effectively!

“So… is there anything you need me to do?”

Xiao Keyi felt guilty for using up Wu Zui’s equipment.

“There is one thing: find the local branch of the Purification Society here. Shouldn’t be too hard, right?” Wu Zui had planned to investigate after reaching Aier, but with a skilled hacker here, it would be a waste not to use her.

“Not difficult! They’re very brazen abroad, especially closer to the United States. In Aier, it’s easy to find their branch,” Xiao Keyi said, waving her hand to indicate how simple it was.

“Alright then, let’s find a place to rest and gather our strength.”

Wu Zui led Xiao Keyi out of the airport straight to his reserved hotel.

Since he hadn’t expected Xiao Keyi to stow away in his suitcase, Wu Zui had only booked one room. Everyone knew that at a five-star hotel, rooms without reservations were nearly impossible to get. So…

Xiao Keyi first glanced at the exceedingly soft bed, then sneaked a look at the seemingly hard sofa.

Thud—

“So sleepy! Zzz…” Xiao Keyi said as she collapsed onto the bed, sinking into it completely. Once she smothered herself beneath the covers, she immediately pretended to snore loudly.

“You take the bed; I’ll sleep on the sofa,” Wu Zui sighed, grabbed a pillow, and went to the sofa.

( ´⌣`ʃƪ )

“Don’t forget to check where the Purification Society branch is,” Wu Zui said before leaving, addressing the still snoring Xiao Keyi.

“Okay~” Xiao Keyi had successfully claimed the bed, snuggling comfortably under the covers as she dragged out the last syllable.

Wu Zui turned and left, beginning preparations for tomorrow’s plan to deal with Han Bo and the special equipment needed.

After Wu Zui left, Xiao Keyi rolled out of bed and took her laptop from his suitcase. As a “red hacker,” she, like any hacker, couldn’t bear to be parted from her computer.

Even though she had to remove a lot of Wu Zui’s special weapons from the suitcase to make room, and her own space inside became cramped, it was worth it.

“The crescent moon smiles softly, stars twinkle with their eyes…” Xiao Keyi hummed a sweet tune as her laptop began gathering local information about the Purification Society in Aier.

“Purification Society members massacred teachers and students at Shiva High School, causing 78 deaths. The spirit detectives are currently conducting a full-scale manhunt.”

“Four Purification Society members attacked the city hall yesterday; three were killed by guards inside, one escaped. The three who died were all rated as three-star awakened beings!”

“The safest bar in the Aier capital—the Aphrodite Bar!”

Xiao Keyi compiled a large amount of information and mapped out the general activity zones of Purification Society members based on numerous attack cases. At the very center was a building that caught her attention—the so-called safest bar in the capital, the Aphrodite Bar.

As the central hub of Purification Society operations, this bar was supposedly the safest in Aier’s capital? Does the rabbit not eat grass near its own burrow?

“Do they take me for a fool?” Xiao Keyi muttered under her breath, then quietly hacked into Aier’s traffic monitoring system. From that moment on, every person entering or leaving the Aphrodite Bar was photographed and the images automatically saved by the computer.

Xiao Keyi yawned; she was genuinely tired this time. After all, she hadn’t slept all night. Who could sleep hiding in a suitcase?

“I’ll show master the photos tomorrow. So sleepy!”

Since Wu Zui wasn’t actively hiding his use of his eyes, Xiao Keyi had also noticed something unusual about them. After putting away her laptop, she lay down on the bed and fell asleep peacefully.

Sitting on the sofa, Wu Zui examined the items Jason had brought, selecting a few useful ones before pondering how to find Han Bo’s true form.

[Maybe kill a few clones first? There must be some connection between the clones and the main body. Then we can finish off the real one. If that doesn’t work, use that black head of Baman to lure him out.]

Wu Zui silently formulated his plan, calculating potential problems, then slowly lay down on the sofa and drifted into sleep.

The next day, at dawn.

Just as the sky was beginning to lighten, Wu Zui and Xiao Keyi were awakened by a roaring noise. Wu Zui immediately went to the window to investigate.

It turned out spirit detectives were besieging a Purification Society member here. Judging by the situation, the member seemed fused with some strange creature, as golden weapons caused severe damage to his body.

“Aier is so chaotic! And this is the capital—Purification Society members even dare to fight spirit detectives openly on the street!” Xiao Keyi said excitedly. She hadn’t seen such scenes at home, where spirit detectives usually operated discreetly when dealing with spirits.

[This is the passionate life!]

“No need to watch anymore. That guy’s done for!” Wu Zui glanced at the spirit detectives pursuing the Purification Society member, noting one held a shotgun.

Bang!

The strange, mutated body of the Purification Society member exploded into a puddle of brownish flesh and blood. Fortunately, his head was unharmed. The brownish flesh on the ground began flowing back toward his head.

A spirit detective stepped forward and fired a follow-up shot.

Bang!

After the second shot, the Purification Society member was utterly finished.

“How’s it going over there?” Wu Zui asked, smiling at Xiao Keyi’s tousled hair.

“I found a very suspicious bar. I photographed everyone who went in or out yesterday. Master, you can check if it’s the place you’re looking for,” Xiao Keyi said, half-opening her eyes, still drowsy.

Her usual twin ponytails had loosened during sleep, black hair resting on her shoulders, all the hair on top standing up like a just-awakened little lion, quite adorable.

“Got it. If you’re still tired, go back to sleep a bit,” Wu Zui said, pulling Xiao Keyi close, gently smoothing her hair.

“Okay~” Exhausted, Xiao Keyi turned and ran back to her bed.

Thud—

“Zzz…”

Wu Zui shook his head and began reviewing the photos Xiao Keyi had taken on her laptop yesterday.

He hadn’t expected to find Han Bo’s whereabouts so easily—just knowing where Purification Society members gathered would suffice. They would surely tell him what he needed to know. Tough nuts like Han Bo certainly existed, but not in great numbers.

“Hmm, this really is a stronghold!”

Wu Zui muttered softly, observing the towering columns of sinister aura above the heads of those entering and leaving the bar in the photos.

[No sign of Han Bo yet, but this is good enough!]

Having confirmed the target, Wu Zui ordered room service for two Chinese-style breakfasts. Soon, a fragrant spread centered around crab roe soup dumplings was delivered.

Sniff sniff—

Inside the room, Xiao Keyi seemed to catch the scent of food. Eyes closed, she dragged herself toward the dining table, her nose twitching as she followed the aroma.

[It’s impressive you didn’t bump into the doorframe!]

Wu Zui admired her silently.

Xiao Keyi bit into a crab roe soup dumpling, her narrowed eyes instantly turning into crescent moons.

In less than a minute, seven baby-fist-sized dumplings were devoured one after another with astonishing speed.

“So delicious! Master, I want another order!” Xiao Keyi said, waving her chopsticks at Wu Zui.

Wu Zui reluctantly pushed his dumplings over, saying, “Go ahead, eat.”

In no time, both finished breakfast.

After eating, Xiao Keyi quickly fixed her wild hair into tidy twin ponytails, looking adorably fresh.

Seeing Wu Zui selecting items from the suitcase Jason had brought, Xiao Keyi asked, “Master, is the target inside that Aphrodite Bar? Are we going to cause trouble for them?”

“We are causing trouble, but not for those weaklings. Take this,” Wu Zui said, handing her his golden longsword. He didn’t trust the craftsmanship in Aier much. “You didn’t bring a hammer, so use this for self-defense.”

“Thanks, Master! Love you~” Xiao Keyi said playfully as she accepted the golden longsword.

Wu Zui’s heart skipped a beat, but he maintained his stoic expression and said, “Don’t pick up any bad habits like Ming Rourou’s. Her obsessive pursuit of the truth might be her only virtue. Learn something good!”

“Got it~” Xiao Keyi paid no mind to his cold demeanor. She stuck out her tongue and made a funny face.
