Chapter 8: Foolish, Wealthy, and the Second Generation of Nouveau Riche
“You can’t change it, the needles have to go here—not just here, but other places as well.” As Ling Tian finished speaking, he swiftly pressed on Xiaofang and Xiaofei’s acupoints. Now the two girls were even more panicked—they couldn’t move at all. What exactly was the young master planning? It was terrifying.
“I’m going to start now. Don’t worry, it’ll only hurt a little—it’ll feel tight and sore, but there won’t be any bleeding.” With that, Ling Tian actually inserted a needle into Xiaofang’s chest, to be precise, the very center between her breasts, at the Shanzhong acupoint. This spot truly does promote chest development and benefits the internal organs. For girls who easily get upset or have smaller chests, massaging this point often can be helpful.
Ling Tian did the same for Xiaofei, inserting a needle at the identical spot on her. The two pretty girls were now utterly at a loss, on the verge of tears. To have crossed paths with such a perverse young master—perhaps it was simply their bad luck. They could only hope there wouldn’t be any lasting side effects.
“Young master…” Xiaofei, being the more timid one, gazed at Ling Tian with watery eyes. In her memory, the young master had never been so cruel. This side of Ling Tian frightened her.
“Be good—it’s not anything like S&M. I’m treating you both. You’re eighteen, but both of you look like you’re only fifteen or sixteen. You were born weak and have been malnourished. Acupuncture is the only way I can help you. Relax. You are my women—how could I possibly wish you harm?”
Seeing the girls about to cry, Ling Tian hurried to explain gently, and at the same time, released their acupoints. The two girls didn’t move recklessly, for they saw the seriousness in Ling Tian’s eyes and chose to trust their young master.
“Young master, will we become great beauties after your acupuncture?” Hope flickered in Xiaofang’s eyes; she longed for a more voluptuous figure.
“It won’t happen overnight. After the acupuncture, you need to eat well, sleep plenty, and recuperate for a while. Your bodies will gradually improve, and you’ll grow taller, too. Once you both become stunning beauties, I’ll officially make you mine.” Ling Tian continued inserting needles into key acupoints on both girls as he spoke, around ten needles each, then waited quietly for over twenty minutes, taking the time to admire the two beauties, running his hands over their bodies now and then. When they finally became beauties, he would have even greater fortune with women. Of course, he intended to find more beautiful women—tonight, he’d head to that place, Night Jiangnan.
…
Ling Tian’s parents truly had no demands of him; as long as he was happy, that was enough. Surviving a brush with death only made them indulge him further. After all, with their wealth, there was no way to spend it all. As long as he didn’t break the law or do drugs, he could do as he pleased. In fact, aside from racing and fighting, he was actually quite well-behaved.
After cuddling with the two girls on the bed for a while, Ling Tian finally got up and went out to find Zhang Yue and the others. Perhaps for him, life after his rebirth felt more like stepping into a video game world, one he’d never experienced before. Given his current abilities, the game seemed far too easy—a pure indulgence.
They raced their cars for a while, and Ling Tian even taught them how to hurl bills like weapons, but unfortunately, the guys were terrible at it; after all their attempts, the best they could manage was hitting someone’s body, without any real force.
That night, more than a dozen of them headed straight to Pretty Jiangnan—a large nightclub with performances in the main hall and private rooms for drinking, dining, and singing. Ling Tian and his group chose the main hall, where they could drink, snack, watch the show, and, incidentally, scan the crowd for pretty girls. According to Zhang Yue, this place was known as a hotspot for picking up women.
Loud music thundered; the crowd swirled in confusion. In his previous life, Ling Tian had often visited such places during missions, but never had he relaxed enough to have a drink and watch a performance. Now, surrounded by Zhang Yue and friends, he felt utterly at ease, sipping and chatting away.
“Tian, look—see that girl? She’s been staring at you.” Zhang Yue gestured toward a girl not far off—short black hair, heavy smoky makeup, and a little black dress so short it barely covered her hips. She was indeed looking Ling Tian’s way with great interest.
“She’s not pretty.” Ling Tian curled his lip dismissively. None of the girls here interested him. His senses were sharper than most; he was especially sensitive to a woman’s scent. That girl, whether in appearance or aura, was clearly the type with a chaotic private life. He didn’t like that. The women Ling Tian wanted weren’t like this—unless he took them from someone else or truly loved them, he didn’t care if they were virgins. Otherwise, he preferred women with simple, innocent lives.
“Hey, kid—I’ve got my eye on you!” Just then, the girl strode right over to him. She was at most in her early twenties, but her attitude was brash. As she spoke, her gaze lingered on Ling Tian’s diamond ring, his diamond earring, the gold chain around his neck, and the gold bracelet on his wrist. What a fat sheep—young, handsome, and loaded. She was determined to reel him in tonight.
“Tian, that girl is gorgeous. You really don’t want her?” Zhang Yue nearly drooled as he looked at her, unable to comprehend why Ling Tian found her unattractive.
“You want her?” Ling Tian didn’t even glance at the girl, simply asked Zhang Yue.
“Yeah, but she’s into you, Tian. She doesn’t care about me.” Zhang Yue couldn’t help but envy Ling Tian’s background. He thought he was pretty good-looking himself, just not as rich as Ling Tian. The way the girl was eyeing Ling Tian’s diamonds made it obvious what was on her mind—she was after his money.
“Hey, girl, do you like this ring?” Ling Tian took off a large diamond ring, waving it before the short-haired girl’s eyes. The stone sparkled brilliantly under the lights, drawing many envious glances. The girl’s eyes instantly lit up.
“I love it! Handsome, are you giving it to me?” the girl said eagerly, thinking he was a classic rich fool—a second-generation nouveau riche, just like the rumors said.
“Spend the night with my buddy, and this ring is yours.” Ling Tian pointed at Zhang Yue, who had always obeyed him. Since Zhang Yue liked the girl, Ling Tian thought he’d help out—a girl he didn’t care for, after all.
“Thank you, handsome!” The girl immediately took the ring and plopped herself down on Zhang Yue’s lap. She wasn’t actually a working girl, but for a diamond ring this big, keeping company with a decent-looking guy was a bargain.
She sneaked a look at Ling Tian, thinking, This rich boy must be gay—why else would he be unmoved by such a beautiful woman like me? This girl was certainly conceited. If Ling Tian knew her thoughts, he’d have tossed her out on the spot. Gay? Nonsense! He was still a virgin—and only liked virgins!
