Chapter 72: Fights, Drinks, and Flirting (Please Vote for Me)
“Spare them? Hmm, for the sake of you and Yue’er, I can let them live. But I’ll cripple them all. However they hurt my brothers, tonight my brothers will return the favor.” Ling Tian glanced coldly at the dozen or so men on the ground as he spoke.
“Well, alright then.” At this point, Tiger had nothing more to say. A life for a life, a debt repaid. This time, Baldy and Viper had indeed gone too far.
“Dai Jin, Yuan Bao, do it!” Ling Tian put away his gun, picked up an iron rod, and smashed it down on a man’s knee.
With a sickening crack, the man’s kneecap shattered into at least four pieces. Ling Tian showed no mercy—if his brothers had been wronged, blood would pay for blood.
Dai Jin and Yuan Bao acted without hesitation. Dai Jin went after Baldy, Yuan Bao after Viper. They didn’t hold back, and once they’d finished with them, they turned to the rest. In an instant, screams of agony filled the air. Ling Tian and his men were ruthless, stopping only when every one of their enemies had passed out. After all, Baldy had once knocked Dai Jin and the others unconscious in just the same way.
The onlookers were all shocked by the brutality. Ling Tian really wasn’t someone to mess with. Any man who dared pursue Song Ziyue was not to be underestimated. Baldy, Viper, and their crew—over a dozen men—were ruined for good tonight; they’d never return to the streets. Even if they recovered, they’d carry lasting injuries.
Of course, none of them knew that Baldy and his crew had once been just as vicious. If Ling Tian hadn’t sacrificed his own energy to heal his friends, Dai Jin and the others might have been crippled for life.
Life on the streets—sooner or later, you pay what you owe. Cut someone today, and tomorrow you might be the one getting cut.
Tiger didn’t intervene, watching as Ling Tian and his men beat the others unconscious. He thought to himself that Ling Tian and Sister Yue were indeed a perfect match—both ruthless to their enemies.
It wasn’t that he, as the boss, wasn’t looking out for Baldy and the others, but what they’d done was truly out of line. Ling Tian had saved his life, and he couldn’t return kindness with betrayal. Sister Yue also had plans to draw Ling Tian in, so he had no choice but to sacrifice Baldy and his gang. He’d just have to send them some compensation later in private.
The air was thick with the scent of blood, and thus a violent dispute came to an end.
Ling Tian, of course, had no intention of causing further trouble in Tiger’s territory. He led his group away. Tiger tried to invite Ling Tian to dinner, but Ling Tian declined—it was hardly the right occasion for a meal.
So they agreed to meet the next day. Tiger would help Ling Tian arrange a meeting with Song Ziyue, and Ling Tian eagerly accepted. He’d been racking his brains for an opportunity, and here it was—Song Ziyue wanted to see him too. Ha, truly, his charm was irresistible! Ling Tian couldn’t help but feel proud.
On the way back, Huang Mao, Zhang Yue, and the others were excited. They decided to celebrate. It had been a long time since they’d all gotten together, and Ling Tian wanted to spend time with his brothers. Dai Jin and Yuan Bao quickly got acquainted with Zhang Yue and the rest.
“Brother Tian, should we go to that nightclub we visited last time?” Zhang Yue suggested.
“Which one?” Ling Tian wasn’t sure.
“That one, South Beauty! It’s only one character different from this place, Dream South. We had a great time there last time.” Zhang Yue said enthusiastically.
“Zhang Yue, you’ve been thinking about that little vixen again, haven’t you? Haha, ever since Brother Tian gave her that big diamond ring to keep you company, she’s latched onto you,” another guy teased.
“Haha, that girl really has a perky behind. I want a feel tonight too,” someone else joked.
“Alright, let’s go there then. I may not have a big diamond ring with me tonight, but I’ve still got over ninety thousand yuan on me. That girl will probably still be drawn to the money. We only spent less than four thousand just now dealing with those guys anyway.” Ling Tian said, pulling out two wads of cash and handing them to Zhang Yue.
Zhang Yue’s family was well-off, though not as wealthy as Ling Tian’s, but still affluent. For some reason, though, he was always short on cash—especially when it came to spending on women.
“Heh, thanks, Brother Tian. I’ll call Fangfang right now and have her bring some girlfriends out. There are plenty of beauties at her school.” Zhang Yue dialed as he spoke.
“Yes, make sure she brings lots of friends. Schoolgirls are still better than those club girls, even if they’re still money-minded. At least one or two are a bit cleaner,” someone else chimed in.
Everyone agreed—they were ready for a wild night. It was barely nine o’clock, the night was just beginning.
“Hey, Fangfang, it’s your Brother Yue. You free tonight? Bring some of your girlfriends out to play. What? You have class? At night? More like you’re going to spend the night with some old guy! Brother Tian is here tonight—you know, the rich handsome guy from last time. Yep, that’s right. Okay, bring more friends to South Beauty Nightclub.”
It took Zhang Yue ages to finish the call—he really liked Fangfang, but she only seemed interested in money. Lately, since Zhang Yue had been low on funds, she’d been cold toward him. But hearing that Ling Tian, the rich and generous “second-generation heir,” was coming, her interest was piqued. She was probably hoping for another diamond ring.
Back at South Beauty, the place was as lively as ever—crowds, neon lights, beautiful women everywhere. Still, few could catch Ling Tian’s eye.
It was here, the last time, that Ling Tian had made up his mind to pursue the four most sought-after beauties in Jianghai City: Lin Youya, Li Youran, Han Bing, and Song Ziyue.
No one had believed he could actually win over any of them, but in just a few months, he’d lost his virginity to the classical beauty Li Youran, was now living in the same villa as Lin Youya, had even groped the voluptuous policewoman, and had a date with Song Ziyue the next day.
Ah, what is youth without indulgence? Ling Tian, dashing and debonair, had made a spectacular entrance into the world.
With pen in hand, he could charm the innocent; in bed, he could conquer married women. With a wave, beauties lined up, waiting for his favor. This was truly the life a man should live!
Ling Tian mused that he’d wasted his previous life, but thank heaven he’d been given another chance. How could he not woo a hundred stunning women to repay fate’s generosity?
They all went for a shower, changed clothes, and booked a large private room—enough for thirty or forty people. They ordered plenty of food and drinks; after all, this kind of night took energy, and everyone was hungry.
“That was a real fight tonight! Come on, let’s toast Brother Tian! From now on, you lead us to conquer the world!” Zhang Yue raised his glass, thrilled to have had a good brawl after so long.
“Thanks to all my brothers for your help. Blood brothers fight side by side—we’re family here. Cheers!” Ling Tian downed his beer in one go.
“Cheers!” The others quickly drained their glasses.
Everyone was in high spirits, eating, drinking, and vowing to call each other for future fights. Ling Tian was pleased—these were his true brothers.
“Brother Yue, where’s the rich guy?” Just then, Fangfang arrived with seven or eight girls.
She still had short black hair, heavy smoky makeup, and a black mini dress barely covering her hips. Most of the girls with her were also scantily clad, some heavily made up, some fresh-faced and innocent-looking.
“Brother Tian’s over here, but he’s not interested in you anymore, hehe.” Zhang Yue grinned, pulling Fangfang into his arms and grabbing her curvy backside, wishing he could have her right then and there.
“You’re terrible. Let me introduce you—these are the beauties from our class, all class queens. Don’t scare them, they’re all pure girls,” Fangfang said with a laugh, introducing everyone.
Including Fangfang, there were only eight girls, so they called another ten or so from the club, making sure each guy had a companion.
Ling Tian didn’t care much for these girls, but he didn’t want to stand out, so he picked one who seemed relatively pure and pretty and held her close. The girl looked shy, but Ling Tian suspected she was only pretending; he could smell the scent of other men on her.
Compared to the club girls, these were more reserved, but the club girls were very forward, some even putting their hands down the men’s pants. The atmosphere soon grew heated. Drinks flowed, people began singing, and some started making out.
Ling Tian, Zhang Yue, Dai Jin, and Yuan Bao played cards with four of the girls. The rule was: men drank when they lost, women took off clothes.
They made bets on whose breasts were the largest, whose were the smallest—of course, with nothing on, since everyone was still wearing bras. These days, bras could be deceiving, so the men insisted on using their hands and eyes to judge the real cup size.
The most outrageous was Dai Jin, who suggested betting on whose nipples were the darkest, and whose were the lightest.
“Damn, I can’t take it! Dai Jin, you pervert, don’t say I know you. Why don’t you bet on which girl has more hair down there, or less?” Even Zhang Yue, self-proclaimed playboy, was taken aback.
“Heh, good idea! Let’s add that too. Also, who’s the darkest down there, whose petals are the thinnest? Come on, place your bets!” Dai Jin, having just slept with a girl from the internet café that day, was eager for more and didn’t want to miss out on tonight’s beauties.
“Damn, you’re ruthless! Fine, I’ll play along. If I lose, I’ll bring over more girls for the next round!” Zhang Yue didn’t believe his knowledge of women could be beaten by the skinny Dai Jin.
“I’m in too! I may not have much real-world experience, but I’ve watched plenty of videos, heh.” Yuan Bao was confident in his judgment—the fifty gigs of adult films on his computer were proof enough.
