Chapter 29: A Man Who Isn't a Rascal Isn't Developing Properly
The two men saw Ling Tian and Lin Youya walking towards them, and upon noticing Ling Tian’s amused gaze, realized they had been discovered. They abandoned their pretense and stared directly at the pair, exuding a forceful aura. Lin Youya, sensing the hostility in their eyes, felt a surge of nervousness and surprise, but she remained unafraid, calmly accompanying Ling Tian to confront the two.
Facing their aggressive demeanor, Ling Tian appeared entirely relaxed, saying nothing as he waited for them to speak first.
“Are you Ling Tian? And is this Miss Lin Youya?” The taller, crew-cut man spoke up first, his voice not loud but full of confidence—clearly someone trained in martial arts.
“I am Ling Tian. What business do you have with us?” Since they hadn’t made a move, Ling Tian had no intention of striking first. After all, Lin Youya was at his side, and they were in a bustling shopping mall. With so many witnesses, anyone who initiated violence would be in the wrong, both morally and legally—this was nothing like schoolyard fights or private disputes.
“I’m Lin Youya. Are you looking for me or for him? If you want to settle scores with him, leave me out of it. If you’re here for me, you’ll have to knock him down first to be qualified to find trouble with me.”
Lin Youya, initially somewhat anxious, suddenly recalled that Ling Tian was quite adept at fighting, which eased her nerves. Now, being with Ling Tian gave her a sense of security, though she deliberately provoked him with her words, hoping to annoy him.
“Wife, you’re ruthless! But these two guys really aren’t worth worrying about.”
Martial artists possess a certain aura, the strength of which is closely tied to their abilities. Some say it’s simply a feeling. Ling Tian felt confident he could handle these two, though they couldn’t gauge his capabilities. Experts can easily sense when someone isn’t their match, but those less skilled often can’t see through the strength of a superior opponent.
“Ling Tian, we’re here for you! We’ll teach you a lesson so you’ll stop bothering Miss Lin Youya!”
With those words, the tall man threw a punch at Ling Tian, unconcerned that they were in a public place. Ling Tian dodged effortlessly, while the shorter man kicked at Ling Tian’s waist. Both attacks were forceful and properly executed, clearly from men who had undergone training. Yet, before Ling Tian, they were hardly noteworthy. Although his current body was far inferior to his previous incarnation, handling these two posed no difficulty. He sidestepped the short man’s kick, then used a grappling technique to seize the tall man’s arm. With a swift maneuver, he threw the man over his shoulder, sending him crashing solidly to the ground.
Without giving them a chance to recover, Ling Tian lashed out with a well-placed kick to the short man’s chest, dropping him too. Each strike was delivered with considerable force, severely injuring the pair. At that moment, mall security was already hurrying toward the scene.
Ling Tian, wishing to avoid trouble, grabbed Lin Youya’s hand and left before the guards arrived. He had acted in self-defense, and the two assailants suffered only superficial injuries, so he had no desire to go to the police station.
They ran until they reached a small park beside the mall, finally stopping to sit on a bench. Lin Youya was flushed and perspiring, her chest rising and falling rapidly, prompting Ling Tian to swallow hard.
“Hey, can’t you stop being so lecherous?” Lin Youya was exasperated by his lascivious gaze—his looks weren’t indecent, but his eyes were.
“If a man isn’t lustful, he’s not really a man. If a woman isn’t a little flirtatious, she’s lacking in charm. This is just the heroic nature of your husband!” Ling Tian enjoyed teasing Lin Youya. She was quick to anger, but utterly adorable. Unlike Li Youran, who merely blushed at his advances and never scolded him, Lin Youya would snap back every time.
“You’re sick! Utterly shameless!” Lin Youya’s face was crimson. She had plenty of admirers, but none so brazen as this.
“A man who isn’t a rogue didn’t develop properly. It shows I’m healthy.” Ling Tian grinned at her, uttering words that nearly made Lin Youya faint from indignation. His shamelessness truly knew no bounds.
“You! Hmph! Ling Tian, I really want to beat you up!” Lin Youya, outmatched by Ling Tian’s thick skin and wit, was infuriated. She had never suffered such indignity in her life and glared at him, wishing she could tear him apart.
“Go ahead, I promise not to fight back.”
Ling Tian leaned closer to Lin Youya. They were already sharing the same bench, now almost pressed together. Lin Youya’s dress had a low neckline today, giving Ling Tian a chance to sneak a peek at her snowy skin.
“You pervert! How dare you!” Initially, Lin Youya’s threat had been idle, but seeing Ling Tian blatantly ogling her, the elegant heiress could stand it no longer. With few people in the park and no one nearby, her fury erupted. Her delicate fists rained down upon Ling Tian.
“Ow, easy, you’re murdering your husband!” Ling Tian feigned dodging, speaking mischievously.
Her punches were light and barely affected him. He was merely encouraging her not to stop—after all, it was a kind of intimate contact. Especially when Lin Youya exerted herself, her face flushed, chest heaving, breath unsteady, causing Ling Tian to stare in a daze.
“You keep talking! Hmph! It’s hard to hit you like this. Let me show you how I’ll deal with you!”
Lin Youya, utterly provoked by his “murdering your husband” comment, suddenly pushed Ling Tian down onto the bench and straddled him, delivering punch after punch to his chest. She was so absorbed in venting her anger that she didn’t notice her own posture.
“Take it easy. If you kill me, you’ll be a widow!” Ling Tian felt no pain at all—in fact, he was enjoying himself. He wished she’d linger on him a while longer.
Lin Youya was oblivious to Ling Tian’s wicked gaze, which roamed beneath her skirt. The dress was short, and as she straddled him, her movements made her white panties flash in and out of view. Ling Tian was thoroughly delighted, her legs smooth and fair, her bosom trembling with each motion.
If it weren’t for the broad daylight and public setting, Ling Tian would have taken her right then and there. His arousal was barely contained by his trousers, though even so, Lin Youya sensed something was amiss.
“You—what are you doing?” Lin Youya suddenly noticed a strange sensation—Ling Tian’s body seemed to have changed, something pressing against her. Alarmed, she cried out.
“What do you think?” Ling Tian shifted slightly, letting his arousal brush against her.
“Ah!” Lin Youya shrieked, scrambling off Ling Tian and nearly falling. Ling Tian caught her, his hand landing squarely on her soft chest, and he inadvertently squeezed—it was large and incredibly soft.
“You scoundrel! Let me go!” Lin Youya stood up, furious, glaring at Ling Tian. He obediently withdrew his hand, but with obvious reluctance.
“Wife, if you’re still angry, you can keep hitting me.” Ling Tian savored the memory of her pressing down on him. Next time, he’d find a quiet moment to enjoy it again—just the thought made his blood race.
“Hmph!” Lin Youya, unable to win verbally, had only ended up being taken advantage of. Just now—she couldn’t believe what had happened.
She had never been so close to a man in her life, let alone in such an intimate way. Even with their clothes separating them, the electric sensation had startled her. Ling Tian’s body had touched hers—she was mortified!
Lin Youya snorted at Ling Tian and turned away. The best way to deal with such a rogue was to keep her distance, lest he take advantage again.
“Hey! Wife, wait for me!” Ling Tian called, grabbing the shopping bags from the ground and hurrying after her. He had carried them while fighting, then as they ran, and finally left them by the bench. These were the first gifts he’d ever bought for a girl—he couldn’t let them go to waste.
Lin Youya ignored his shouts, walking briskly toward her car. Though she moved quickly, Ling Tian caught up just as she opened the door, tossing the bags onto the back seat and settling himself in the rear.
“Get out! I don’t want to see you!” Lin Youya didn’t want anything to do with Ling Tian at this moment. But his shamelessness was unmatched; no matter how she insisted, he refused to leave. She even tried to drag him out, but he was immovable. In the end, Lin Youya had no choice but to drive off with this super nuisance in tow.
Soon, Ling Tian noticed something odd—Lin Youya was driving away from the school, not toward it. He asked, “Wife, aren’t we going back to school? Where are you going?”
“I’m going home. Get off wherever you like—I’m not going back to school today.”
Lin Youya had no intention of dropping this nuisance off. Since he insisted on staying in her car, she’d simply go home. He wouldn’t be able to enter her house so easily; the security guards would throw him out.
“Then I’ll go home with you and meet the parents. Sooner or later it has to happen—why not today?” Ling Tian was immediately interested. Meeting Lin Youya’s family was the perfect opportunity; once he won them over, pursuing Lin Youya would be much easier.
“My parents aren’t home!” Lin Youya replied curtly.
“Not home? That’s perfect—we can have a secret rendezvous. Wife, your white panties look really nice!” Ling Tian continued, never missing a chance to provoke.
