Chapter 139: Just One Kiss from You, and I'll Drink
Faced with Ling Tian’s threat, the beauty did not back down. Inwardly, she thought, You’re the one who’ll regret this! You’ll regret it soon—no, you won’t even have the chance to regret it, because I’m going to send you to meet Lord Yama. Hmph!
I’ll endure it. I’ll endure this for just a little longer!
The girl cursed Ling Tian countless times in her heart. He could guess as much, but he did not care. He placed a hand on her leg and slowly moved upward, all the way to the most secret place.
At first, the girl desperately held herself together. But when Ling Tian’s hand reached that intimate spot, she could no longer stand it. She gazed at him pleadingly and said, “Could you take a shower first? Please. I’m a bit of a germaphobe.”
She looked so pitiful that, seeing the act had gone on long enough, Ling Tian decided to let her off for the moment.
“All right. I’ll shower now. You won’t slip away while I’m in there, will you?”
“If I wanted to escape, I wouldn’t have come in here with you. Go take your shower!” The girl shot him a glance and spoke with an air of exaggerated obedience.
“Fine, I’m going. By the way, there are two bathrooms here. You should wash up too. Heh—only then will it be fair. I’m a germaphobe as well, you know. Ha ha!”
With that, Ling Tian actually entered the bathroom. He really did want to wash off the grime of travel. After getting off the plane, he had gone shopping and eaten, and his body carried a jumble of unpleasant scents.
“Hmph!”
The beauty gave a disdainful snort, but still headed toward the other bathroom. She wanted to wash away Ling Tian’s scent. His wandering hands had nearly explored her entire body, and she wanted every trace of him gone.
No one knew how she had managed to shower with such astonishing speed. By the time Ling Tian came out, she was already waiting in a bathrobe, her hair dripping wet. She held a cup of coffee and sipped it delicately. Another cup sat beside her.
Ling Tian wore only a bath towel, leaving his upper body bare. His physique was exceptionally well proportioned—muscular, but not to the point of looking grotesque. He had always been quite confident about his body.
“Beauty, you’re awfully quick. And you seem to have plenty of leisure for coffee. Don’t you know men prefer to get straight to the point?”
With a wicked grin, Ling Tian sauntered toward her.
“But don’t you know that girls care about the mood? You’re being so impatient that it makes me feel terrible.” She pouted coyly, as if Ling Tian were utterly incapable of understanding romance.
“Oh? Then what would it take for you to get in the mood?”
Ling Tian was in no hurry. Since the beauty wanted to play, he would humor her for a while. No matter what she tried, she could not escape his grasp.
There was something rather enjoyable about watching prey struggle. This girl might know a little martial arts at most, yet she wanted to challenge him? How utterly presumptuous.
“Have something to drink, chat a little, and then talk about your feelings. Girls like that. Besides, you’re very handsome, so it’s easy for a girl to develop a favorable impression of you and willingly be with you.”
The beauty smiled, as though she were genuinely interested in Ling Tian.
“Heh, all right. I’ll indulge you and play along with this childish romantic mood. I rarely court girls, though. I usually go straight to the point. So I’m afraid you’ll have to lead the conversation.”
Ling Tian sat down beside her.
“Mm. You need to slowly learn how to understand girls. I made two cups of coffee just now, so have one.”
As she spoke, the girl placed the other cup in front of Ling Tian.
Looking at the coffee, Ling Tian narrowed his eyes slightly. He accepted it without revealing anything and said, “Actually, I don’t really like coffee.”
Then he watched her reaction.
Just as he expected, the girl’s expression shifted faintly before returning to normal.
“You really don’t know how to appreciate romance. I made this coffee especially for you. Even if you don’t like it, have a little.”
Her tone unconsciously took on a coquettish note, and Ling Tian’s heart stirred slightly.
It was no wonder people said that even a beauty’s smallest frown or smile could move a man’s heart. It was true. Ling Tian found this girl rather alluring. If she had not been hiding some ulterior motive, he might really have considered making her a candidate for his wife.
“Give me a kiss, and I’ll take a sip.”
Ling Tian glanced at her soft, pink lips, genuinely looking forward to it. He had spent all that time touching her body and had missed those beautiful lips. Now he had the perfect chance to make up for it. Heh.
“How can you be like this?”
The girl’s face reddened immediately.
A kiss? She had never given away her first kiss. If she kissed Ling Tian just like that, would it still count as her first kiss? Such a precious first kiss could not be given away casually. Her heart twisted in indecision.
She could comfort herself over his touching her body by telling herself it was all for the sake of accomplishing her objective. But taking the initiative to kiss him seemed like something only people in love did. She could not make up her mind.
“That’s just how I am. Heh. If you don’t kiss me, I won’t drink. If you give me one kiss, I’ll take one sip.”
Ling Tian’s smile remained mischievous. He was certain there was something wrong with the coffee the girl had prepared. If she wanted to trick him, fine—but he would collect a little interest first.
His seductive smile stirred something in the girl as well. This young man seemed to possess an inexplicable attraction. Gritting her teeth, she decided to kiss him. As long as Ling Tian drank some of the coffee, she should accomplish her objective. Afterward, she would repay him twice over for all the ways he had bullied her.
With that thought, she turned her head and quickly kissed his cheek. Then, blushing, she returned to her seat and lowered her gaze.
“I’ve kissed you. You can drink now.”
Her voice was soft, but Ling Tian heard every word clearly.
Her initiative left his heart fluttering. Humans truly were creatures of emotion. Sometimes even a simple kiss could feel wonderful. But Ling Tian was not satisfied with such a fleeting touch.
“Beauty, that isn’t how you kiss someone. Don’t tell me you’ve never kissed a man before?”
As he spoke, he reached out, lifted her chin, and made her raise her head.
His movement made the girl even more nervous. She glared at him, irritated.
“What exactly do you want?”
“I want a kiss on the lips, not the cheek. You kiss me, and I’ll take another sip.”
Ling Tian continued to grin wickedly. Teasing her was surprisingly entertaining.
If she had been an uninhibited woman who considered kissing nothing special, he might even have refused to let her kiss him. But because this girl regarded kissing as something sacred, he was especially eager to obtain one from her.
“You!”
The beauty was so angry that she nearly stormed away. But after thinking it over, she realized she was already this close. If she left now, all her efforts would be wasted—and Ling Tian would have taken advantage of her for nothing. No, she could not let him profit without paying a price.
“Well? It’s only a kiss. Surely you aren’t that stingy?”
As he spoke, Ling Tian cast a sidelong glance at the cup of coffee, making his meaning perfectly clear.
“Hmph! Fine, I’ll kiss you. Who’s afraid? But you have to close your eyes.”
After considering her options, she had no choice. She did not have the courage to let Ling Tian watch her kiss him, so she demanded that he shut his eyes.
“All right. I’ll close them.”
Ling Tian obediently closed his eyes.
The girl gazed at his handsome face, and for one fleeting moment, she felt reluctant. Could it be that she had begun to like this wretched man?
No! Impossible!
Then why was her heart beating so fast?
Ling Tian’s lips were beautiful. At last, the girl gathered her courage and leaned in to kiss him.
Ling Tian felt something fragrant and soft brush his lips. Her lips had touched his, but they were already about to pull away.
How could he possibly let her leave?
He opened his eyes in an instant, wrapped his arms around her, and pressed his lips against hers. They were still fragrant and soft. The sensation was exquisite.
“Mmm… mmm…”
The girl struggled. She had only intended to give him a brief kiss. She had never expected Ling Tian to kiss her back, and for a moment she could not break free.
Ignoring her resistance, Ling Tian pried open her mouth and slipped his tongue inside, teasing her delicate tongue.
The girl’s mouth tasted sweet and fragrant, and Ling Tian was reluctant to stop. He savored her slowly, deepening the kiss with every moment.
Ling Tian’s mouth carried a clean, refreshing masculine scent. The girl gradually became aroused by his kiss and forgot to resist, slowly surrendering to his skill.
The kiss lasted for quite some time, and both of them were deeply absorbed in it. Eventually, Ling Tian felt that kissing alone was not enough, and he slipped a hand beneath her bathrobe.
She was wearing nothing underneath.
Ling Tian easily grasped her full breasts and kneaded them firmly. The sensation was delightful.
“Mmm—no!”
The intense feeling in her chest suddenly brought the girl back to her senses. She pushed Ling Tian away, ending the kiss. Panting heavily, her lips swollen, she looked like someone who had just been bullied by a villain.
Ling Tian gazed at her swollen lips with great satisfaction. As he had suspected, this girl had truly never kissed anyone before. Heh.
“You—you can drink the coffee now, can’t you?”
The girl suddenly remembered the coffee and felt she had suffered a terrible loss. To make Ling Tian drink a single mouthful, she had sacrificed the first kiss she had kept for eighteen years—one she had intended to give to the man she would someday love.
“Sigh, you really are persistent. Fine. Since you let me kiss you so pleasantly, I’ll do you the favor and take a sip.”
Ling Tian lifted the coffee.
“No. You have to drink several sips. You kissed me for such a long time.”
The girl suddenly felt even more cheated and wanted him to drink more. What if one mouthful was not enough for the drug to take effect?
“All right. I’ll drink the whole cup. Are you satisfied now?”
Ling Tian flashed a wicked smile, raised the cup, and drained it in one go.
