Words Upon Publication [A Must-Read!]

I've received notification from the editor: the novel will be launched tonight at midnight.

As for the author, I've had a few books with some success before, and I've also abandoned quite a number of projects. Old grudges and regrets are now behind me. This time, I'm writing part-time, returning to my original intent—to fulfill the childhood dream of exploring the stars and the sea. I have no particular expectations for the book's performance.

After all, in China, interstellar adventure stories are rather niche, and as everyone knows, I have some... unique preferences as an author.

To be honest, the first two story arcs before the launch may have been a bit off-putting. Although this is supposed to be about interstellar adventure and treasure hunting, I ended up writing about a closed-off world of cultivation and an isolated utopian social experiment instead.

It was definitely a bit self-indulgent.

But please don’t worry! Once the novel is officially launched, it will enter the main adventure storyline, becoming more thrilling and passionate, and step by step, it will reveal the boundless grandeur and magnificence of the universe.

This book was published under the light novel category and didn’t perform well at first. Yet, to my surprise, as I kept writing, it started to gain traction and ultimately made it onto the Sanjiang Recommendations!

In short, no matter how this book fares, I, Shanju, will see it through to the end with utmost dedication.

Niche stories are never easy, so I hope everyone will support the official release on Qidian and follow along—don’t just stockpile chapters, keep up with the updates!

[About Updates]

After the launch, as long as I don’t hit writer’s block or run into emergencies, I’ll do my best to write two long chapters per day, totaling around 8,000 words.

Updates will be posted around daybreak.

If I do hit writer’s block or encounter something unexpected, I might only manage one chapter—4,000 or 6,000 words—without any special notice.

Only in the event of no update at all will I post a separate notice for leave.

[About Bonus Chapters]

As someone who’s not the fastest writer, I honestly don’t want to promise extra chapters. I’ll add one chapter for every new Alliance Leader—that’s my limit.
