Chapter Twenty-Six: Unrestrained Rampage!
“Die!”
Qin Feng’s brows furrowed slightly, but he paid no further heed to the wounds on his legs. Swiftly, he charged at the guards who were pulling at the iron net.
Bang.
Bang.
Bang.
Wherever Qin Feng passed, men and horses were thrown into disarray—no one could withstand a single blow from him. He forced his way directly to the iron net.
Boom.
Boom.
Qin Feng swung his spiked club rapidly, sending five guards who were tugging at the net flying through the air.
Those five guards crashed heavily to the ground, their upper bodies mangled beyond recognition, dead beyond any hope.
“Who dares to run riot in the Xue household?”
Hearing the commotion outside, Xue Renquan hurried over, his voice thundering with rage.
“Who are you? Do you not know the laws of the Great Chu Empire? No fighting is allowed within the city!”
“Cease at once! Are you defying the City Lord’s Mansion?”
With a long blade in his hand, Xue Renquan exuded murderous intent. But when his eyes fell upon Qin Feng, his body halted abruptly, horror dawning on his face.
Was that figure truly human? Covered in blood, Qin Feng tore through the ranks of the household guards as if no one else existed.
The savage club in his hand slew guards one after another—he was a veritable butcher.
Xue Renquan dared not charge forward. Fear flickered across his features as he forced himself to speak in a harsh tone.
“Xue Renquan.”
Upon hearing the shout, Qin Feng’s gaze swept over and landed directly on Xue Renquan—one of the three men he had come to kill.
“Your life is forfeit!”
With a roar, Qin Feng slammed his spiked club down, sweeping aside three martial artists blocking his path, and surged straight toward Xue Renquan.
“How dare you! The City Lord’s Mansion will not spare you!”
In his youth, Xue Renquan had survived countless battles and slain innumerable foes. But as Qin Feng charged at him, his heart pounded violently, his face turned ashen, and a flight instinct gripped him. Forced bravado rang in his voice.
“If death is all that awaits me, then let the world drown in blood!”
The iron net’s assault had slashed Qin Feng’s body, leaving bloody welts and drawing fresh blood. Yet as he unleashed his full power, his muscles and skin tore even further.
Such wounds would already have killed an ordinary man. But Qin Feng possessed a monstrous regenerative ability—his injuries closed rapidly even as they formed.
His eyes remained icy, his voice chilling. “Retreat!”
“Fall back! All of you, retreat!”
“Hurry, notify the City Lord’s Mansion!”
Seeing Qin Feng barrel toward him, reeking of blood, Xue Renquan could endure no longer. Terror overwhelmed him—his only thought was to flee.
Dread, fear, and panic consumed his heart. This man’s skills far surpassed the level of a dark energy master.
Xue Renquan had no doubt that Qin Feng could kill him with a single blow.
“Run! Run for your lives!”
The Xue household guards who were besieging Qin Feng saw their master flee. Their morale collapsed instantly, and they scattered in panic.
“Die!”
Qin Feng lashed out with a kick, sending a flower pot half as tall as a man hurtling toward Xue Renquan.
“Open!”
Sensing the murderous wind behind him, Xue Renquan spun to defend himself. The instant he saw the massive flower pot hurtling his way, his pupils contracted violently. He swung both fists at the incoming object.
Boom!
The moment his fists struck the pot, his expression changed drastically—a monstrous force, like a crashing tide, surged through and sent him flying.
Blood spurted from Xue Renquan’s mouth, staining the ground.
When he crashed down, his arms were twisted at unnatural angles, and even his internal organs were shattered.
“How could the Qin family produce a monster like you?” Xue Renquan stared at Qin Feng in disbelief.
He had thought this man was merely a transforming energy master, but after this exchange, he realized the gulf between such masters and this man was immense.
There was only one explanation—this man was a Grandmaster, exalted and untouchable!
As the light faded from Xue Renquan’s eyes, his body slumped lifelessly to the ground.
“If death is inevitable, then today I will kill without restraint! Let the rivers run red with blood!”
Qin Feng rampaged through the Xue estate, slaughtering family members one after another, cutting a bloody swath straight through their mansion.
“Xue family, Hong family, Wang family!”
“Next, it’s the Hong family’s turn!”
Drenched in blood, Qin Feng strode from the Xue residence toward the Hong estate, his spiked club now a deep, purplish red from all the gore.
“Hiss—”
“Back away!”
…
The commotion at the Xue household had already startled the neighboring residents. Many pairs of eyes peered cautiously at the estate. When they saw Qin Feng emerge like a man bathed in blood, they could not help but gasp, their faces filled with shock and awe.
“What on earth happened inside the Xue family?”
“Why do all the Xue guards appear so terrified and scatter in panic?”
“Is that really Qin Feng, the third young master of the Qin family’s Sun branch?”
…
Once Qin Feng had ridden away, men from other families, unable to suppress their curiosity, cautiously approached the Xue household.
Vomit.
Vomit.
Seven bold martial artists stepped into the estate. The sight that met them was a field of corpses, many of them mutilated beyond recognition.
Though these seven had seen their share of violence, the carnage here turned their stomachs; they bent over and retched violently.
Soon, more and more people entered the Xue estate. When they saw the grisly scene, their faces changed dramatically, and news of the massacre—and of Qin Feng—spread in all directions.
“Hurry!”
“Hurry! Xue family, if you dare harm Xiao Feng, I’ll fight you to the bitter end!”
“Xiao Feng, you must hold on!”
Qin Tianyun, Qin Zhongkai, Qin Xingchao, Qin Fengling, and Zuo Daoguang, upon hearing where Qin Feng had gone, turned pale with alarm. Without hesitation, they scoured the area for his trail and charged toward the Xue household.
“Xue Renquan, if you dare lay a hand on Xiao Feng—even if I bleed my last drop—I’ll kill you myself!”
Qin Tianyun led the way, roaring furiously as he galloped straight into the Xue estate.
“This…”
“Is this the Xue family?”
“What happened here?”
Qin Tianyun looked upon the sea of corpses in the Xue household, and in one corner, he spotted Xue Renquan’s body. Bewilderment swept his face as he gazed around in confusion.
“Father, what happened here?”
“What has become of the Xue family?”
“Father, what’s going on?”
Qin Zhongkai, Qin Xingchao, Qin Fengling, and Zuo Daoguang quickly arrived. Stepping into the Xue household, they saw the rivers of blood and were equally stunned.
“They’re from the Qin family!”
Onlookers quickly stepped back in fear and awe, casting wary glances at Qin Tianyun, Qin Zhongkai, and Qin Xingchao.
The man who had annihilated the Xue family had claimed he was Qin Feng of the Qin family!
“What exactly happened in the Xue household?”
“Why was the family exterminated?”
“Have any of you seen my grandson, Qin Feng?”
Qin Tianyun quickly approached four bystanders, questioning them.
“It was Qin Feng—Qin Feng destroyed the Xue family!”
“That man said he was Qin Feng; he did it!”
The four replied quickly, then scattered in terror.
At that moment, their fear of the Qin family reached its peak. If not for their will to survive, they would have collapsed on the spot.
