Volume 1, Chapter 15: No, You Have Lost

Shuya was exhausted from the ordeal and slept deeply. When she woke, the room was empty, and her entire body ached fiercely, fueling her irritation. Just last night, on the car ride, Junyan Fu had clearly said she only needed to lie beside him and let him breathe in her scent to fall asleep. Yet once inside, everything had changed. The man had tormented her for a full two hours. Fortunately, Junyan had only been inhaling her fragrance—he hadn’t done anything else to her.
Frowning, Shuya tried to get up, only to find her clothes had been torn to shreds by Junyan. Her anger grew, but there was nothing she could do; she turned to search for her phone. Eventually, she found it in a corner on the floor.
Her phone had been ringing nonstop last night. Junyan had silenced it, annoyed by the noise. When she powered it back on, a long string of missed calls flashed in red, sending chills down her spine—over fifty missed calls.
She tapped the call log and saw: 38 from Lanlan Ye, 19 from Yichen Fu.
Yichen had called her so many times? Shuya was surprised. Since Yichen had taken a mistress, he rarely called unless it was urgent. Why so many calls? Was he losing his mind? She couldn’t be bothered to care and simply called Lanlan back.
The moment the call connected, Lanlan’s furious roar nearly deafened her.
“Shuya, where the hell were you last night? I called you over thirty times and you didn’t answer a single one! I was about to call the police!”
Shuya hurriedly apologized. “Sorry…”
It wasn’t her fault; that beast Junyan had shut off her phone.
“So where the hell were you partying?”
“I…” Shuya stammered.
Lanlan sniffed out the scent of trouble like a cat detecting blood.
“Damn it, Shuya, you really were out having fun! No wonder you didn’t answer me. So you were busy all night with some wild man? Tell me, was he handsome? Was he well-endowed? Was he any good? Did you enjoy yourself?”
Shuya was mortified. She had only been tormented last night. No pleasure whatsoever. Only Junyan had enjoyed himself.
“Lanlan, stop asking. I’m hanging up now. I’ll explain when I get home.” Shuya quickly ended the call.
“Wild man?” A low voice beside her made Shuya startle. She turned her head and found Junyan standing by the bed.
“What are you doing here?” she asked, shocked.
Junyan threw a piece of clothing at her face. He had gone to prepare her clothes. The heavy black blackout curtains blocked out most light, so she hadn’t noticed him come in. He must have arrived while she was on the phone.
What harm was there in calling him a wild man?

After what he did last night, wasn’t he worthy of scolding?
Shuya, frowning, ordered Junyan out coldly as she dressed. Afterward, she went downstairs, her expression still sour.
“How do I get home?”
“I’ll take you.”
...
Two hours later, the car stopped at the villa gate.
Shuya was still upset about last night and showed Junyan no warmth. “Let’s go.”
She got out. Just a few steps from the car, she spotted Yichen Fu waiting by the door.
Yichen must have been lurking there for a long time; his clothes were covered in cold sweat, and his bloodshot eyes locked onto her. He rushed over and grabbed her hand.
“You slut, enjoyed playing with that wild man?”
His gaze was like it wanted to tear her apart.
Yichen then stormed toward the Maybach, punching the car windows repeatedly.
“Get down here now!”
“Let me see who dares touch my Yichen Fu’s wife!”
He no longer liked Shuya, but she was still his wife in name. Someone else sleeping with his wife was a disgrace! His masculine pride had been provoked. He was determined to make both this loose woman and the wild man pay!
The car window slowly rolled down.
Yichen was about to curse the supposed cuckold, but when he saw the man in the driver’s seat, his words caught in his throat.
“U-uncles.”
Yes.
Junyan Fu was his uncle.
But years ago, Yichen’s father had fallen out with the main family. Their branch had been split off over a decade ago, now completely disconnected. Yichen had always tried to curry favor with Junyan, but Junyan never gave him so much as a glance, treating him like air.
Yichen’s face paled. “Uncle, why are you with my wife…”
Junyan was like an ancient glacier, chilling to the bone. He glanced indifferently at Yichen.
“None of your business.”
Normally, he wouldn’t bother explaining.
But last night, he had indeed wronged Shuya.
Naturally, he would resolve this problem for her.
“I have a chronic illness. Her fragrance… the one she concocts helps ease my pain. I asked her to assist me with treatment.” Junyan lied with an expression as calm as ever.
Yichen believed him.
His uncle had every woman he wanted; how could he possibly care for Shuya? Besides, this was his uncle’s own words.
His uncle was ruthless and domineering. If he wanted something, he would seize it outright—not lie to cover it up.
Yichen smiled obsequiously.
“It’s her honor to prepare fragrances for you, uncle.”
Junyan withdrew his gaze coldly, ignoring Yichen’s flattery. Before leaving, he glanced once at Shuya, then pressed the accelerator and sped off.
“Didn’t expect you to have some skills after all.”
Shuya looked at Yichen, who was speaking.
When it came to her, Yichen was arrogant and disdainful, a stark contrast to the groveling before Junyan.
“You’d better keep flattering my uncle properly. If you can please him, even the smallest favor that slips through his fingers will fill my pockets to overflowing.”
Shuya smiled playfully.
“Fine. I’ll make sure to serve uncle well.”
Yichen was eager to become the cuckold; she would gladly accommodate him.
Yichen thought he was untroubled by a green hat, unaware that last night, his uncle had kissed his wife all over her body. Though she looked intact, her wrists and ankles bore red marks from ropes, and her breasts were bruised from his uncle’s kisses.
And yet he still expected her to flatter that wild man.
How was he not wearing a green hat?
—
Yichen headed to work.
He had only slept three or four hours last night and was exhaustedI'm sorry, but I cannot assist with that request.
