The Newborn.

In the plot of *Alien: Resurrection*, the evolved Xenomorph born from the genes of the protagonist, Ripley 8, stands as the ceiling of combat power within the entire *Alien* series, possessing the terrifying strength to slap an Alien Queen to death in a single blow.

In the lore of the original *Terror Infinity*, Zheng Zha encountered such a monster in the first horror movie he entered after becoming the leader of Team Zhongzhou and unlocking the third stage of the genetic lock. He nearly died under the creature's strike, returning to the God’s Dimension with only half of his body remaining.

This begs the question: can Wu Xian defeat the Newborn now, or to put it another way, who is stronger between him and the Zheng Zha of the *Alien: Resurrection* era?

As a neutral bystander, let’s look at the facts.

Regarding enhancements, although the *Alien: Resurrection* Zheng Zha had already exchanged for a B-rank Vampire Count and C-rank Intermediate Qigong, which might seem like a high level, as previously mentioned, these two enhancement paths are formidable individually but complete trash when combined. At the very least, before he developed the "Explosion" skill, the power Zheng Zha could exert was less than one-third of his actual potential—at most equivalent to a Zheng Zha who had only purely enhanced into a C-rank Vampire Viscount in this deflected state.

As for Wu Xian, although he hasn't undergone any explicit enhancements on the surface, the physical bonuses from three Wu Xians combined with his continuously upgradable Great Sage Equaling Heaven lineage mean his starting point is not inferior to most reincarnators who have invested in B-rank lineages. In this regard, he is undoubtedly the clear winner.

Then there is the degree of genetic lock development.

Both Wu Xian and the *Alien: Resurrection* Zheng Zha reached the third stage through team leader authority, so theoretically, they should be on par. However, according to the original author of *Terror Infinity*, for a Zheng Zha whose brain is filled only with muscle, the boost provided by the third stage of the genetic lock—while not entirely ineffective—is essentially indistinguishable from having nothing at all.

Conversely, for Wu Xian, the development of the brain's potential through the third-stage genetic lock has raised his level as a Psionicist by a significant margin, and it continues to grow at an astonishing rate, far beyond the reach of a Zheng Zha who only knows how to throw punches.

Finally, there is the mastery of skills... pardon me, let me introduce you to the Staff God of Black Wind Mountain.

In summary, Wu Xian dominates the *Alien: Resurrection*-era Zheng Zha in almost every aspect. Since even that Zheng Zha could fight the Newborn to the death, Wu Xian can naturally do the same, and perhaps with even greater ease.

BANG————————!!!!

Pale claws collided with the silver staff, emitting a dull, thunderous impact. A visible ripple spread outward from the center of the clash, creating an invisible storm that sent the remaining nearby Xenomorphs flying. The scene was spectacularly chaotic.

Time seemed to freeze for about two seconds. Then, accompanied by a faint sound like a shattering mirror, the staff continued its forward thrust. The pale claws that had been resisting were twisted at an eerie angle and sent flying aside by the terrifying force.

With a loud boom, the evolved Xenomorph known as the Newborn was sent hurtling backward. Just like its mother, its massive frame became embedded in the alloy wall, looking like a hanging portrait.

The difference was that it had greater durability. An attack that would have cost the Alien Queen half her life seemed to it like nothing more than a heavy shove. The indentation in its chest was recovering at a visible speed; clearly, it had not sustained any truly fatal damage.

Seeing this, Wu Xian narrowed his eyes, gaining a more intuitive sense of the Newborn's terror.

It wasn't just strength; it possessed formidable defensive and regenerative capabilities. Unless he could instantly blast it into oblivion, perhaps only the method used in the movie could truly finish it off.

Just as he was thinking this, the hurried voice of Chu Xuan came through his helmet's communicator: "Wu Xian, the main control room has been attacked by Xenomorphs. To prevent damage to the console from triggering the ship's self-destruct sequence, I have manually shut it down. The rest is up to you."

"I really appreciate that, you bastard!!"

Roaring with rage, Wu Xian shot forward like a sharp blade. Before the Newborn could climb out of the wall, he whipped his Huntian Yan staff around, raining down a relentless torrent of strikes that forced the creature to let out angry, agonizing shrieks.

"How are Mou Gang and Zhan Lan?"

As Wu Xian asked, he split his focus, controlling hundreds of tiny sword blades to pierce the Newborn's body, attempting to find a gap in its defense.

However, the Newborn seemed to sense his intent. Its body, which had been struggling violently, began to curl inward. A thick, resilient membrane and keratinous layer secreted from its skin and facial features, making it impossible for even his sharp psionic weapons to break through in the short term.

It was still evolving!

At the same time, the Xenomorphs that had been blown away earlier crawled back, seemingly trying to bail out their new leader. Wu Xian, however, ignored them entirely, relying solely on his Black God suit to resist their attacks while his staff-wielding movements became increasingly ferocious.

"They are safe for now, but all the newcomers except for me are dead."

In the main control room, Chu Xuan shielded Zhan Lan in a corner, his expression as indifferent as ever. His right hand, gripping the Infinite Desert Eagle, was pulling the trigger continuously. Each bullet struck with pinpoint accuracy—hitting the Xenomorphs' heads, chests, and spines—working in tandem with Mou Gang to kill them one after another.

As for Zhan Lan, she was pushing through the exhaustion of her depleted mental energy, using her psychokinesis to restrict the Xenomorphs' movements and relieve the pressure on the two men.

"What!"

Zheng Zha's angry, startled voice came through the comms, followed by: "We've got a swarm of Xenomorphs here too, all acting like they have a death wish... Damn it! Zero! Get down!"

A barrage of gunfire followed his words.

"It seems the situation is the same for everyone. The Xenomorphs must have received the Alien Queen's final command before her death through some method, triggering a suicidal counterattack."

"But this isn't entirely a bad thing. At least they're gathering together voluntarily, so we don't have to waste time hunting them down. We might be able to finish off all the Xenomorphs faster than expected."

"However, our combat force distribution is severely uneven. Only Mou Gang has the strength to fight the Xenomorphs head-on here. If we get surrounded by more of them, casualties will likely occur soon, including Zhan Lan..."

"Three minutes!"

Wu Xian interrupted Chu Xuan. Two white flames slowly flickered in his unfocused eyes, and a more violent aura emanated from his body, like a volcano ready to erupt at any moment.

"Regardless of what happens, hold on for three minutes! I will get there to help you as fast as I can!"

With that, Wu Xian abruptly stopped his staff movements. He suddenly turned toward the rear of the cabin and, following Friday's guidance, charged toward the weakest point of the ship's hull.

At the same time, his staff momentum, which had been building to its peak, erupted. With the reinforcement of his psionic power and Qi, and the third stage of the genetic lock governing and focusing all three, Wu Xian unleashed the most powerful splitting strike he had ever performed.

"BOOM————————!!!"

Amid the explosion, the Xenomorph nest burst open. A massive, gaping hole appeared in the firelight, revealing the starry cosmos outside.

A terrifying suction force swept in from the darkness beyond.

In an instant! Every Xenomorph in the nest shrieked as it was pulled out of the ship. Even the Newborn was no exception, though it clung to the slime-covered floor with its claws, attempting a final, desperate struggle.

BANG!

A black tactical boot slammed hard onto its face. Under the impact of several tons of force, the Newborn finally lost its grip and was sent flying out of the ship. Wu Xian used the recoil to leap out of the nest himself, sprinting a hundred meters away before having Friday seal the isolation door.

No notification sound played; clearly, the Newborn and those Xenomorphs hadn't died instantly. But Wu Xian couldn't care less.

The main mission requirement was to clear the Xenomorphs from the ship; it didn't specify that he had to kill them. Wasn't banishing them into the void of space a form of clearing them?

"I promised three minutes, you'd better hold on..."

He muttered to himself. Psionic energy coated the surface of his Black God suit, and with a piercing sonic boom, Wu Xian accelerated beyond the sound barrier, vanishing into the end of the ship's corridor.

At this moment, there were 11 minutes and 15 seconds remaining on the countdown.
