Volume One, Chapter Six: Is Sion the One Feeding? It's Actually Galio on the Opposite Side Who's Feeding!
“An Junhe, come help me secure the mid lane.”
“This Sion keeps pushing the wave; if you come to gank, he’ll definitely die!”
Inside the Arena of the Gods, as the third wave of cannon minions reached mid lane once again, Park Crown’s expression finally darkened.
Though less than three minutes had passed since the start of the game, the enemy Sion in mid was already putting significant pressure on him.
As a proud Korean player, even among teammates, he didn’t want to reveal his inner struggles, so he called out to the jungler, Zhao Xin.
“This Sion is definitely going down!”
An Junhe responded immediately. His Zhao Xin had just cleared three camps in the upper jungle and leveled up to level 3. With a clear level advantage, he was confident his gank would succeed without issues.
So, as Sion once again used “Soul Furnace” and “Brutal Strikes” to clear the minion wave, Zhao Xin suddenly emerged from the upper river bush!
“Durand Shield!”
To ensure Zhao Xin’s gank was flawless, Galio first taunted Sion in place with his skill.
“Fearless Charge!”
Without hesitation, Zhao Xin activated his skill and charged straight at Sion.
Then, relying on the attack speed boost from “Berserker’s Roar” and the triple knock-up effect of “Triple Claw Strike,” Zhao Xin kept Sion rooted and dealt massive damage.
“War Gale!”
Combined with Galio’s newly learned level 2 skill, even though Sion’s health was nearly full, he instantly became critically vulnerable.
“General Zhao Xin has slain the Undead Warlord Sion!”
First blood!
As expected, Sion gave away the first kill for him and the Kirin team with astonishing ease.
...
“Ha ha ha ha, Zhao Xin is amazing! I told you that Sion pushing like that would definitely feed. Now do you believe me?”
“So what if we lost the minion wave early? So what if we lost the first turret plating first? As long as Sion dies, everything he gained must be given back!”
“Team Samsung is incredible! Korean national team is incredible! The Chinese team? Just wait to be eliminated and wiped out!”
As the first blood alert rang throughout the Arena of the Gods, countless Korean viewers in the live broadcast room erupted in frenzy, barking like dogs that had found their master.
In contrast, the Chinese viewers, whose hopes had just begun to rise, were once again crushed by Sion’s death.
“Why didn’t Wang Yaozu place a ward? If he had set up a vision earlier, this death wouldn’t have happened!”
“Is this the so-called Kirin team captain? Just getting a slight early advantage with some hidden cards and now he’s acting invincible?”
“Traitor! Wang Yaozu is a traitor! He never intended to win this match; he just wanted to feed more kills to show loyalty to the Korean team!”
After a brief silence, Chinese viewers angrily cursed, wishing Wang Yaozu would be torn to pieces on the spot.
Moreover, inside the Kirin team’s voice channel, a heavy silence prevailed.
None of the teammates understood why Wang Yaozu had so easily given up a kill, nor why he showed no reaction afterward.
But due to Wang Yaozu’s captain status, no one dared to voice any objection, making the entire Kirin team atmosphere overwhelmingly oppressive.
“Haha, I thought this Sion was strong, but turns out he’s just a reckless fool.”
Meanwhile, Park Crown, who had effortlessly assisted Zhao Xin’s successful gank and earned an assist, felt elated.
However, what baffled him was that, due to Sion’s passive skill “Death’s Glory,” the fallen Sion had already risen again and continued to push the minion wave.
“Damn it, if the entire wave gets cleared, how am I supposed to push the enemy turret?”
Park Crown’s mood soured instantly, especially when he saw a blue minion nearing death, his anxiety grew.
With just over a third of his health left, he didn’t hesitate and moved toward the minion wave.
Unbeknownst to him, Sion, who had been auto-attacking minions, suddenly shifted aggro to him and unleashed a few blows, instantly draining all of Park Crown’s health!
“The Undead Warlord Sion has slain the Just Giant Galio!”
When this alert echoed throughout the Arena of the Gods once more, not only Park Crown but the entire audience was stunned.
Especially the Korean fans, who had been mocking the Chinese players’ incompetence just moments ago.
Within five seconds, Sion had turned the tide by killing Galio, leveling the kill score!
“What the hell is this Sion? His corpse seems stronger than the actual champion!”
“Why did Crown go up to let Sion hit him? Couldn’t he have just waited for Sion’s passive to expire?”
“We really lost big on this one. The enemy Sion got the kill, but Galio only got an assist. More importantly, the Chinese minion wave is pushing into the tower again, meaning Galio will lose yet another wave for free!”
Suddenly, the Korean crowd’s mood turned grim. Though confident that the mighty Team Samsung could still crush Kirin, they could not accept the fact that Park Crown had suffered such a setback.
“6666! Even a zombie can get kills? The enemy Galio must be an idiot!”
“Even though Sion gave first blood, he got a kill now and caused Galio to lose a wave. Overall, it’s not a loss at all!”
“Who said Wang Yaozu fed? Come out and say it! He clearly knew his zombie could counter-kill, that’s why he made that bold move!”
“If anyone fed, it’s Galio! Knowing Sion had the passive, he still walked up to die! That’s a clear feed!”
Unlike the Koreans’ mournful howls, the Chinese audience, after a brief five seconds of despair, quickly shifted from sorrow to joy, drowning in celebration.
Because if this match continued like this, Wang Yaozu’s Sion truly had a chance to lead Kirin to victory and bring new hope for all of China!
