Startled awake by the sudden upheaval, Yunxi quickly rolled over and stood defensively.

She didn’t recognize these intruders; the two nannies were fierce, and the young woman leading them wore a hostile expression.

Yunxi did not attack rashly but took two steps back, keeping her distance and warily asked, “Who are you?”

Seeing the marks on her neck, Shen Yujiao became even more furious, losing all reason as she imagined the aloof and noble cousin growing intimate with this lowly servant.
